Vikram Chandra, a New Delhi native, is the two time winner of the Commonwealth Writers Prize. He is the author of Red Earth and Pouring Rain and Love and Longing in Bombay. He also has co-written Mission Kashmir, an Indian feature film. Vikram Chandra currently divides his time between Mumbai and Berkeley, California, where he teaches creative writing at the University of California.
