Rinki Bhattacharya, daughter of Hindi film director Bimal Roy, is the creator of Char Diwari, a documentary about violence within family, which has been shown at several International festivals to critical acclaim. She has also edited Janani – Mothers, Daughters, and Motherhood, an anthology with contributions from known and unknown writers who reflect on motherhood as mothers and as daughters. It is the first of its kind in India.
Rinki has served on the jury of several prestigious National and International film festivals. Her writings cover a varied range of subjects, from film, theatre and art reviews to ethnic cookery. She has had popular columns in mainstream publications, such as Economic Times and Indian Express. Presently, Rinki Bhattacharya is the Vice Chairperson of Children's Film Society of India and the founder Chairperson of Bimal Roy Memorial & Film Society.

Lakshmi Pratury is the founder and CEO of Ixoraa Media, a company that builds bridges between India and the United States, one event at a time. Her past career spans being an Intel executive, a venture capitalist at Global Catalyst Partners and a social entrepreneur at the American India Foundation. She is the founder of the Digital Equalizer program, which continues to bring digital education to underprivileged children across India.

Narika was founded in 1992 to address the problem of domestic violence in the South Asian community. Embracing the notion of women's empowerment, Narika set out to address the unmet needs of abused South Asian women by providing advocacy, support, information, and referrals within a culturally sensitive model.
